About the role:
This position is responsible for managing technical facility projects to support environmental strategy, react to technology replacements needs and ensure availability of critical infrastructure essential for manufacturing site operation ensuring processes and products are delivered to the highest quality and customer satisfaction.


Your key duties and responsibilities:
• Develops relationships within operations and with external vendors, material suppliers and consultants to manage the successful implementation of technical facility projects
• Possesses a very good technical knowledge of technology and has a good understanding of civil engineering
• Manages the implementation of capital projects to ensure that operations delivers a value added ‘return on investment’ and provides a significant competitive advantage to the business including ability to technically and commercially evaluate vendor proposals for machines and technology
• Manages accountable steps within the project Management and Change Control Process for the successful development and delivery of products and machines
• Supports the development, communication and execution of Operations Engineering management strategies and visions that are aligned to the Convatec business
• Develops management systems and project management techniques to ensure effective project delivery to meet quality, cost and time objectives.
• Develops and ensures compliance with engineering and EHS standards
• The engineering projects will dictate the amount, location and frequency of travel. Travel estimated up to 20%
• Lead activities in RCA process to ensure understanding of the critical infrastructure problems and defining solutions to avoid them in the future (both practical and procedural way)
