As Medtronic Team of Strategic Account Acceleration – Conversion Accounts Manager, you are responsible for establishing new relationships within the conversion accounts and establish Medtronic as a partner of choice for these accounts.
In your role, you can capitalize on the power and scale of Medtronic portfolio to select, penetrate, and win in competitors’ strategic accounts through systematic targeting of market share by innovative and attractive value propositions by acting as the GM of your conversion accounts, instilling an aggressive pan-Medtronic commercial approach based on the careabouts of your strategic stakeholders.
You interface with hospital staff (clinical and non-clinical) C-suite and senior management and understand their most pressing problems. As such you are also working as the orchestrator between the OUs, the functions and the rest of the enablers, consulting, business development colleagues and the clients you serve.
A Day in the Life
• Establish a strategic relationship with this account by targeting the C- suite and non-clinician stakeholders in specific, identified conversion accounts
• Orchestrate the efforts across all relevant Medtronic teams to design and execute value generating projects to introduce therapies and gain shares that will generate incremental gains based on customers’ careabouts.
• Proactively assess and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis by running thorough discovery analysis and drive data analytics around clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
• Develop actionable plans for immediate improvement and costs benefit solutions as well as long term projects
• Work with accounts to drive complex transformational change, implements innovative growth strategies, streamlines patient-focused care pathways, and optimize operations
• Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
