About the role:
As a Senior Engineer – Research and Development you will be supporting Design & Development projects across the Ostomy Care (OC) and Continence Care (CC) Business Units.
Ensuring effective Design Transfer of new products into production and ensuring compliance to local and global SOPs and QMS.


Your key duties and responsibilities as a Senior Associate - Research and Development:
• Understanding of product portfolio – product design, all production processes and equipment, test equipment used in T&I laboratories
• Preparation of samples and production batches in earlier stages of new product development projects
• Product testing for new product development and lifecycle management projects
• Evaluation of test results and preparation of reports
• Root cause investigation of potential failures on products
• Participation in new test method development
• Product sample management – from production / receiving, through the testing to final disposal
• Lead all activities during product builds and testing – leading all personal participating on those activities
• Work closely with operation quality and production staff
• Training of production staff and transfer of knowledge of product, process and to operation
• Support and supervise the first production batches after design transfer
• Make decision about product quality
• Finding improvements during new product development and lifecycle management projects related to testing and product preparation
• Participation on investigation of root cause of issues
