About the role:
As a Continuous Improvement Manager you will be responsible for supporting overarching strategic direction, coaching and global leadership on the implementation of continuous improvement (CI) efforts throughout all of the Company’s operational functions.
This position will have significant visibility within the global operations team and supporting functions.


Your key duties and responsibilities as a Continuous Improvement Manager:
• Implement, deploy and support a global Lean operations management system
• Facilitate site assessment visits to provide feedback on site lean transformation
• Facilitate ad hoc kaizen events and workshops in support of business objectives
• Coach leadership (at all levels) through the implementation of CI and operating systems using various tools such as Lean and Six Sigma
• Experience delivering business results and building competency in lean methods and problem solving/analytical methods
• Support the Strategy Deployment (eg Hoshin Kanri / X-Matrix) process to ensure that business unit and site strategic plans are aligned with the company’s goals
• Assist with Six Sigma project and candidate selection; mentor and coach lean leaders, six sigma candidates on their projects utilizing the DMAIC process
• Train, mentor, and develop personnel to foster a strong culture of continuous improvement
• Create business case(s) for high-impact opportunities establishing links to business strategies
• Work with a broad range of management levels ranging from individual contributors to plant leadership teams
